Overview
In Section 7.2, we are introduced to six basic types of quadric surfaces: elliptic cone, elliptic paraboloid, hyperbolic paraboloid Ellipsoid, hyperboloid of one sheet, and hyperboloid of two sheets. Quadric surfaces are widely used in engineering and computer graphics. Let us zoom in onto its application in computer graphics, please identify 4-5 these quadric surfaces in your favorite cartoons, movies, or computer games. Please include a screenshot for each of the surfaces and give your analysis on the types and parameters of these quadric surfaces.
