Overview
For this first portion of your portfolio, choose a class of function that you would like to study during this course. This can include, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric, or inverse trigonometric functions. You do not need to develop a specific function just yet - for example
- but just the class of function you want to study. This cannot include a linear function.
Over the course of the term, you will develop more aspects of this function. For this first part of the portfolio, describe the class of function you want to study in detail. Be sure to include why you chose this function, the properties of this class of function, the applications of this function, and how it can be useful in your program of study or your profession.
