Overview
i need to answer these 5 questions as quick as possible
1) Jimmy tried to dissolve a non-electrolyte, non-volatile solute in water at 25°C. If 10.0 g of solute (molar mass: 92.09 g/mol) is dissolved in 100.0 g of water, calculate the vapor pressure of the solution. Note that the vapor pressure of pure water at 25 °C is 23.76 Torr and the molar mass of water is 18.02 g/mol.
2) A student prepared a solution by adding water to the mark of a 1000 ml beaker containing 10.2 g of solute (molar mass: 204.10 g/mol) and then completely dissolving it. The density of the final solution was 1.08 g/ml. Determine the molarity (m) and molar concentrations (m) of the solution. What is the weight % of solute in the solution?
3)An unknown element has a face-centered cubic unit cell as shown below. The density of the element is estimated at 1.45 g/cm3 and the edge of the unit cell (1) is 4.52 x 10 cc. Calculate the atomic mass of the element
4) The half-life for a first-order reaction is 2.5 hours. If the initial concentration of the reactant in the first order is 0.250 molar, what is its concentration at 5.0 hours after the start of the reaction? ( the fifth problem will be upload with a pic )
