The objective of this assignment is to design an experiment of your own at-home!
As you will see, the Final Project in this class is a similar more advanced assignment. This is your opportunity to do a mini trial run of this effort in order to gain confidence.
In the context of calculating and demonstrating Molarity, students must select an at-home solute (i.e. table salt) and an solvent (i.e. water) and perform a simple experiment.
Within the submission, students must highlight experimental variables, prepare sample calculations and provide photographic evidence of experimental trials.
Remember, a good experiment asks a question, proposes a hypothesis and works towards validation of that hypothesis. Keep that in mind as you work through your experiment and write!
This submission should be 1-page or greater, 12-pt font, 1-inch margins.
Grading is based on completeness of objective, alignment with submission specifications, quality of writing, professionalism of presentation, and demonstrated effort.
