The term paper assignment is for CHM 111L students to write a typed summary report for 3 experiments that we did (Density, Flame Test and Half-life), Total 30 points.
Each report includes:
1-Title......................................................................................................................................................... 1 point
2- Objectives ...........................................................................................................................................1 points
3- Background information (summary for the lab introduction)................................................... 3 points
4- The method used.................................................................................................................................3 points
5- The student evaluation/justification for the method used to meet the objectives............ 2 points
The preferred upload format will be a .pdf I have included a document here as a guide for what needs to be included in each report. (It has also been uploaded in the files section of Canvas.) There is no maximum or minimum length for these reports, but they should accomplish the objectives for the assignment. I have also included a link for examples of formal lab reports for your consideration. (this is just one, there are many if you search just a bit) Typical formal lab reports will be substantially more detailed than what you are being requested to do, but they might help you when considering how to go about this assignment.
