Overview
A Fluorescence filter cube (block) directs beam paths and selects appropriate wavelengths in fluorescence microscopy. Configuring appropriate filter sets according to the spectral features of a fluorophore has a great impact on the performance in fluorescence microscopy. In this lab, we will characterize the transmission efficiency of fluorescence filters and select appropriate excitation and emission filters for a given fluorophore.
