Overview
You've done your research, written an outline, and organized ideas into a rough draft! Now that you've gotten some feedback from the PackBack A.I. on mechanics, flow, and citation quality, use that feedback to fix any issues. The content rubric is also available below. Your final draft should specifically consist of four paragraphs which cover the following topics:
Paragraph 1: The discovery of your molecule (who, when, where), when it was first synthesized, and/or general background information.
Paragraph 2: Describe structural features of interest (chiral centers, functional groups, rings, conjugated pi bonds, etc.) in your molecule
Paragraph 3: Describe at least four steps of interest from one or more published syntheses of your molecule, and briefly describe the mechanism of two of those steps (precursors, bonds or functional groups made, conditions, etc.)
Paragraph 4: Describe the utility or research interest of your molecule (drug properties? useful material? "We're making it to show off some cool chemistry?"- all fair game!)
Every paragraph should include at least one in-text citation. Your final draft will be graded by PackBack for grammar and mechanics (32 points) and will be graded for content (28 points) by us.
