Overview
I have attached a rubric, lab data, pre-lab manuals, TLC, and IR spectrums of the data obtained in the 2-week experiment. Our product (Lidocaine 5%) was supposed to be a solid, however, it was an oil. I want an explanation possible errors that could have prevented the product from recrystallizing throughout the experiment even though the IR spectrum displays the product contains the result of lidocaine. This lab was 2 weeks, so various tables describe the results of the first and second weeks, such as TLC tables. A chemdraw of the reaction is necessary to go into the formal report as well.
