Overview
The title of the presentation is "Why adulteration / contamination/ misidentification of plant material really matters: Aristolochic acid as a case study." I want you to look at the chemical structure of AA and write information about it that I can say as my presentation. Ideally, I want you to write about how the structure of AA makes it unsafe for human consumption but also look at/compare the structures of three drugs derived from plants of the Aristolochia family, namely, Aristolochia, Herba Aristolochiae and Asarum heterotropoides and how their structures make them less harmful for human consumption when used in small qunatities.
Could you also write about the structure of Aristolochiafangchi vs Stephania Tetrandra and compare them to show how the structure of Aristolochiafangchi resulted in the Belgium slimming formula disaster and how this would have been avoided if they had given Stephania Tetrandra.
