submit a 4-5 page typed journal-like reflection. Do not provide just a report of what each person did – rather reflect upon how the group worked together. Reflect on how the group project impacted your thinking during, and beyond this course. Consider, at least:
- How were decisions made as a group –particularly when you encountered differing perspectives? What practices will you adopt moving forward based on this experience?
- How well your group did practicing the concepts we discussed in class?
- What were the great successes?
- Where did the group perhaps fall short?
- What would you do different with this group to address any unmet challenges, ideas, and opportunities?
- What did you contribute to your group’s team dynamic?
- How will your leadership informed group experience improve your interactions in future group experiences beyond this class?
- What goals and expectations are you setting for future group leadership experiences? Why are you considering these?
- What course concepts and experiences pushed your comfort zone and how are you thinking about that discomfort as it relates engaging with diverse teams and groups? What did you learn about yourself as a result of your group experience?
- In what ways does your thinking about working in groups need further refinement since your baseline paper and because of your development in this class? What challenges and areas of improvement exist for you? How will you continue to adapt your approach in group settings? How will you develop into the leader you want to become to create the world in which you want to live?
