Overview
Choose one of the leadership theories or perspectives from the chapter (i.e., trait perspective, situational perspective, transformational theories, transactional theories -- pp. 246-249). Using the textbook and other scholarly sources, fully explain the perspective in one to two paragraphs. Next, provide a concrete, real-world example of this theory or perspective in action. Use outside resources/citations to contextualize your example. Finally, reflecting on your example, discuss why it is important for any theory of leadership to take communication into consideration.
