Overview
Chapter 15 of your textbook contains what I think is some useful advice on how to leverage your existing skills and abilities into a training and development position. There is some terrific advice in this chapter. You should read it carefully. Regardless of whether you are thinking about going into training and development as a career, your professional life will be an ongoing process of identifying your areas of expertise, and selling others on your ability to use that expertise to solve problems. So what is one area of your expertise? Where is your skill and competence? How will you leverage that into professional success? Be sure to use some of the concepts from Chapter 15 to frame your one paragraph answer here.
After you post, come back and read some of your classmate's posts. Comment on their posts and give constructive comments, but also look for ideas that you can borrow from your peers in how to better market your own expertise.
