Conclusion:
Reference page should include the 3 articles used.
Summary of Articles
Content – clear and sufficient explanation of three journal articles (60%)
- Organization – introduction, thesis, topic sentences, conclusion (20%)
Professionalism – writing style, citation style (20%)
Analysis of a Text
Theory – clear and sufficient explanation of theory and relevant concepts; appropriateness of theory (30%)
Explanation of text – sufficient; not excessive (20%)
Application – use of theory to understand the text; use of the text to understand the theory; insightful and analytical (30%)
Organization and professionalism – introduction, thesis, topic sentences, conclusion; writing style (20%)
Read and summarize research articles published in scholarly journals and/or chapters published in scholarly books (not textbooks) that explain or are based on a theory of your choice. (7-10 pp. not including title page or references). (Relational Dialectics Theory)
