Overview
The objectives of this assignment are to provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your skill in audience analysis; in the selection, research, and organization of a topic; and in the delivery of a speech to persuade. Using personal experiences and documented research as developing materials, you should clarify or explain an idea from one of the following areas:
The main purpose of the speech should be to persuade the audience members to form an opinion, change their attitudes, or act. An attempt should be made to enlighten the audience with new explanations, facts, examples, or experiences, rather than to restate previously known information. There are limitless issues within these three issues. If you are having trouble coming up with something, please talk with me and we will work together to find something that you are passionate about.
