Overview
This week, we learned about informative speaking. We also learned a lot about the speech making process, including organization, outlining, and research. While it's still early in the semester, it's really never too early to start planning for your speeches. Using the lecture and reading material from this week, consider the questions below.
1. Based on the lecture and reading materials, what is informative speaking? If you have a topic in mind for either your informative or skill builder speech, please share what you are thinking about.
2. What are at least three things to consider when evaluating research? Where can you find research that is appropriate to include in your assignments for class?
