This week's readings encompass an abundance of different material, yet all relate to what can be incredibly hurtful and sometimes life-threatening situations. These readings likely invoked in you a response—good or bad, aggressive or fearful, etc.—especially given the prevalence of these issues in our society at this current time.

Part One:

For that reason, there is no specific prompt for this discussion topic post. Instead, reflect on and consider these readings and write what you thought/felt, what came to mind, how we can help with these issues, and so on.

Part Two:

Reply to two others' posts. Remember to employ sensitivity and professionalism in your responses, as some people might be sharing very personal stories or opinions that differ from your own.

Write your initial post and comment on two of your classmates' posts.
