Read Chapter 2 & 3 and answer the following questions
Chapter 1 discusses four major philosophies that influenced U.S. education. Develop a presentation and discuss two of the philosophies (perennialism), and (progressivism) by explaining how the two philosophies of education differ from each other and influenced education over time.
2. Chapter 2 discusses the curriculum development in six different historical periods. Develop a presentation and discuss the historical period(s) assigned to you by explaining the major characteristics of curriculum development in the following period (The colonial (1642-1776) & the birth of the field of curriculum (1918 - 1949).
