Visual Aid (VA) - Deck
We discussed Visual Aids (VA). Below are some things to think about when creating your visual aid decks (using Google Slides, Prezi, or PowerPoint)
Colors
- Do your colors look good together?
- Can you read the text on the background?
- If you were to project your VA on a projector in a classroom, would you be able to see the presentation well or would it bleed out?
Text
- Is the font type easy to read?
- Is the font size appropriate if the slides were to be shown in class?
- Is the spacing between lines appropriate? At least 1.5.
- Is there an appropriate amount of text on the slide? Is the slide not overcrowded?
Pictures
- Do you include multiple pictures?
- Are the pictures useful and aid in your presentation?
- Are the pictures large enough and of high enough quality?
Number of Slides in your Deck (Presentation)
- You should have at least 5 slides.
- Your first slide should be a cover slide. Include your name and title.
