Case Scenario:
A 73 year - old female patient was admitted to the hospital due to bruises in some parts of
the body due to road traffic accident. During the interview, the Doctor find out that the patient is
having memory and orientation problems (cognitively impaired). History revealed that she had
mood and behavioral changes because of the loss of her daughter.
In this scenario, wherein the client is having special needs, health care professionals is
challenged on how to communicate with him.
Instructions:
1. Write in your own words ways on how to approach or communicate with a cognitively impaired
client.
