- Reread the Rhetorical Review assignment sheet. According to this assignment sheet, who is your specific audience and what will you be communicating to this audience?
- Based on the video, how do you understand the main differences between the mini-reviews and the Rhetorical Review? How have the mini-reviews prepared you to complete the Rhetorical Review?
- You wrote 3 mini-reviews, each one focused on a different text from your text set. Now, for the Rhetorical Review, you will choose one of these texts to focus on. Which text have you chosen to review for the Rhetorical Review? Give the official title and author's full name. In 1-2 sentences, explain why you have chosen this specific text. For example, do you feel like you will have the most to analyze and discuss in this specific text? Do you feel like this text is the most interesting to you?
- Will you argue that the text was should or should not be used in the new textbook for future ENC 1101 students?
- What are some of the criteria you will use for review? In other words, what specific parts of the text and/or strategies will you reference to support your claim that the text should or should not be used in the ENC 1101 textbook? (Reminder: Think back to the mini-reviews you wrote - you have already identified specific strategies and parts of the text to discuss!)
- What’s one example/quote/moment in the text you have chosen to work with that you want to discuss in your review? Why? If you have any questions, you can write them below your response and I'll answer them.
