For this New Media Meta-Analysis, you will be extending your point of analysis. In light of our discussion of the impacts of location-aware technology, reflect on the following questions regarding GPS technology in your 400-word response:
- How often do you use GPS-locating technology in your daily life?
- On a scale of 1-10, how lost would you be if you were dropped in an unfamiliar area without access to GPS technology? (1 being not lost at all, 10 being very lost).
In addition, though, ask two friends or family members the same questions. In your response, compare your answers to theirs. What do any similarities say about the impact of GPS technology? And what might explain the differences between your answers (age, location, job, etc.)?
