Overview
Based on your knowledge of organizational communication, new communication technology, and leadership communication, create a training course entitled, “The Digital Age Meets Organizational Culture.”
This course should be designed for a thriving organization. As a foundational element, discuss theorists and readings you would choose to undergird the course, and why. Describe how you would structure your course along with readings, breakout sessions, assignments, exercises, films, case studies, etc. you would include, and the purpose each would serve. And, finally, demonstrate and justify ways in which the scholarship in the field can be used to communicate and organize the structure of such a course.
As you create this training course, keep at the forefront of your mind the pedagogical experience you wish to foster and outcomes you expect in terms of knowledge, learning, and application of content. Be sure to fully develop this content so that you're not simply identifying or labeling elements - instead, explain assignments, exercises, case studies, etc. with ample detail so readers could replicate them in their own training courses.
Master's students should integrate at least ten peer reviewed journal articles into the paper.
Regarding structure, the paper should be written in essay format with bulleted items as appropriate depending on which area of content you're covering. So, be sure to properly set the paper up in your introduction, use APA headings that match the previewed points in the opening, properly move from one section to the next with clear transitions - these can be by day or by topic, fully develop content areas, and conclude with a summary that leaves trainees with a sense of accomplishment and gives them some creative takeaways.
Prior to completing this assignment, I recommend you familiarize yourself with training courses and some common practices used in developing them.
