One hundred and eighteen individuals who had a current sexual partner participated in this study. Approximately, 73% (n = 86) of participants were female, 25.4% (n = 30) were male, and 1.7% (n = 2) did not report their biological sex. The mean age of participants was 32.60 (SD = 8.98, Range = 19-58) (See Figure 1). As shown in Figure 2, the sample identified overwhelmingly as “White, Not Hispanic or Latino” (91.5% n = 108). Eighty-six percent (n = 101) of participants identified as heterosexual, 9.3% (n = 11) identified as bi-sexual, 3.4% (n = 4) identified as homosexual, and .8% identified as “other” (1 participant did not report their sexual orientation). Most participants had engaged in oral sex with their current partner (95.8%, n = 113). However, in the three months prior to their participation, one average, the number of times participants initiated condom use conversations (M = .89, SD = 2.62), negotiated safer sex practices (M = .66, SD = 2.95), and refused unsafe sex (M = .23, SD = 1.34 ) were very low.
