The last assignment you did for me you picked out a topic for me to discuss in this assignment.The next assignment is to create an outline. My topic will be about overcoming stage freight during highschool through cheer leading how it helped me shape my confidence and resilience.
Two Lessons from the Preferred Topic
The value of preparation: Understanding what to do about stage fright helped me understand that preparation is the key to confidence and low anxiety in challenging situations. Repeated practice took my anxiety and converted my anxiety to readiness, and this can be explained as the truth in the old saying that practice makes perfect.
Growth through discomfort: Making myself perform despite fear made me realize that in order for one to transform oneself and one's professional world, one has to get out of one's comfort zone. This experience reminded me that discomfort is often a sign of potential growth and progress.
The speech will follow a topical pattern, focusing on the two lessons learned as the main points:
- The importance of preparation.
- Embracing discomfort as a pathway to growth.
