Overview

1. Using the attached Project 1 file and read over Step 5: Articulate Your Department, Step 6: Draft a Communications Plan, & Step 7: Review Another Plan. You must use the attached template to complete your communications plan: New Department Change Management Communications Plan Template. Create your department's name, mission, vision, and logo. You also need to reflect on a particular change you've experienced, then draft a communications plan for a change management effort using the template provided. Your plan should cite principles and concepts from change management theory. Theories of change are important for you to know as a communicator. You will need to persuade leadership that your proposed communication strategies and tactics will work. For each strategy in your plan, cite the relevant change management principles or concepts.
