Overview
This assignment is a Case Study and has TWO tasks – A Written Report and Presentation.
Assignment Objective:
To demonstrate problem-solving techniques and provide creative solutions based on research
and group discussions.
I chose Case B:
Ali and Rashid work in a local company in Oman. Their company sends them to Japan for three
years to work on a project. The moment they land at the airport in Tokyo, they feel lost. All the
information written around them is in Japanese language. They almost miss their host but finally he finds them. They are put up in a hotel apartment. Their apartment is good and comfortable
but it is very difficult for them to make others understand what they want. The next day when
they reach the office, they are amazed to see the massive office structure. At work they face
difficulties because of differences in culture. They overcome all hurdles and complete their
project successfully. When they come back to Oman their company is very happy with their
achievement. They want their company to send more employees to Japan.
