In Week 4, you begin Project 2 and will create a management plan for the new department. Use the New Department Management Plan Template as a guide. Detail how your new department will operate. Use research to support your policies. Cite at least eight sources.

In this part of the project, you're considering different aspects of organizational culture. Write about the culture of an organization where you worked. Did you feel supported or not? What were the norms and values? State what you liked, what you would change, and why. Then, discuss the culture of your client organization to the extent that you've been able to research or imagine it. How does it differ from the organizational cultures you've experienced? What characteristics would you take from the organizations where you've worked and from your client organization to build a healthy department?
