PART 1 Write a brief personal statement describing the following as applicable:
- Your motivation to pursue upper-division studies in business, including how your interest in business and/or your intended concentration evolved.
- Any relevant experience (employment, volunteer work, military service, extracurricular activities, etc.), and your ability to contribute to the educational experiences of other students at UW Bothell.
- Your reflection on how your education to date has prepared you for business studies, including any significant learning experiences.
- Other factors that you wish to bring to the Admissions Committee
It is suggested that your personal statement be 650 - 750 words.
PART 2 If you have any repeated prerequisite coursework, have applied to the program before, or if there is anything else you would like to tell the Faculty Admissions Committee, please elaborate on these topics in the "Additional Comments" section.
You may use the "Additional Comments" Section to elaborate on the following:
- Repeated prerequisite coursework
- Gaps in education or low grades
- Comment on a previous application and what has changed since
- Personal hardship/overcoming adversity
- Anything else you would like the Faculty Admissions Committee to know
- Black Lives Matter, COVID-19 pandemic and/or online class environment
