Communications Question

An informative speech can first be defined as a speech based entirely and exclusively on facts. Secondly, an informative speech does not attempt to convince the audience that one thing is better than another. It does not advocate a course of action. Even if you choose a topic about which you are passionate, you should not expect your audience to share your passion. It takes time, skill, and focus to plan and deliver a speech that is fresh, interesting, and memorable for your audience.

This week you will develop an outline for your week 3 Informative Speech: “A Lesson Learned”. As you write, keep in mind that this speech will be seen by your classmates and consider your audience.
