Overview
Hi everyone! For this assignment:
- Read this Assignment a few times to get a good understanding of the expectations and technical requirements.
- Follow the instructions and weblinks on this assignment. These will help!
- Create an audio-visual Presentation following the detailed instructions below
Our previous assignments and activities have led us to this point - the Presentation! This is where you demonstrate your ability to bring together all the threads of learning from the course module - by describing a juvenile justice topic and designed a study to answer questions about this topic. The goal of this Research Project is to create a presentation to educate and inform others!
Keep in mind, that your teacher is looking for you to DEMONSTRATE YOUR ABILITY TO APPLY WHAT YOU LEARNED IN THIS COURSE! As your teacher, I enjoy watching these presentations and hearing from our soon-to-be criminal justice graduates.

Proper citation style is used consistently and correctly.2.5 pts Half Marks The literature review includes fewer than 10 scholarly sources or includes some sources that are not scholarly or not clearly relevant. The review shows a basic understanding of the topic but may rely more on summary than synthesis. Connections between sources and the research question are partially developed. They align well with the problem statement and demonstrate a strong understanding of the topic. The questions are original, significant, and appropriate for empirical investigation in criminal justice. If multiple questions are presented, they are logically connected and collectively support the study’s purpose.2.5 pts Half Marks The research question(s) are present but may lack clarity, focus, or specificity. They may be too broad, too narrow, or only loosely connected to the problem statement. The questions show some understanding of the topic but may not be fully researchable or well-developed.0 pts No Marks The research question(s) are missing, unclear, or not researchable. They may be irrelevant to the topic, overly vague, or fail to guide the direction of the study. There is little or no evidence of thoughtful development. | / 5 pts |
