Background
Counselors can educate students, parents, and staff on the benefits of social emotional learning. One way counselors can achieve this is by creating brochures, flyers, and handouts to communicate with students and families regarding social emotional programming. Counselor communication and SEL advocacy are essential for sustaining SEL programs in schools.
