Overview
This is a PowerPoint Presentation Assignment. The organization that you I chose is Autism Society of America –
Tidewater Virginia Affiliate as shown in the attached previous Powerpoint that you made.
Big Idea, Creative Brief, and Tactics:
- Summarize your previous findings (introduction to your client, the situation/issue, and stakeholders). In other words, what does your client do, and why? What are the challenges they face from the situation in which they operate? What are their goals to meet those challenges? What particular stakeholders should they speak to in order to help them achieve those goals? You should revise/update your previous assignments here, but reduce the number of slides to focus on the most important information. Include any detail you think is important but not necessary in the main presentation as appendices after the final slide of your main (narrated) presentation.
- Write a proposal for a “big idea” for your client that brings together their goals and stakeholders through a coherent, cohesive strategy (e.g., should they focus on community engagement and outreach? Education? Fun, exciting events? Partnerships with other local organizations?). Create a detailed creative brief addressing at minimum all of the elements listed in the readings as key to the creative brief.
- What are two SMART objectives you could use to frame/approach the Big Idea? Suggest and flesh out two possible tactics that could help you achieve each objective.
- Fully cite at least 3 sources used to discuss stakeholders and 3 sources used to discuss best practices for tactics in addition to the material discussed in the previous assignments.
- Provide a list of tactics (including channel, content suggestions, what objectives they serve, and what audience they target) along with a SMART breakdown of a sample for each tactic (remember that this should be a breakdown of each tactic, e.g., each social media post, and point out specifically what elements are SMART in each). Include a minimum of two different types of social media posts, a special event idea (sample could be a brochure), and a video idea (sample could be an image and plot outline or storyboard). Remember: Unlike objectives, SMART for tactics is focused on the stakeholder, not the organization!
