Create a Group Counseling Video
Background
Group counseling provides students with a safe and confidential environment to share and learn. Moreover, student experiences in this setting help to encourage change while connecting with other students in similar circumstances. Additionally, sharing with others in a group setting enables students to receive feedback from others that may be sharing the same feelings and social-emotional experiences. In addition, students can observe how others handle their social and emotional issues and may provide different perspectives that perhaps they never considered. School counselors can create a group and gather students with a common goal, making the healing process much faster than with traditional individual counseling sessions.
