For this assignment you will view the following video, please view the entire video "War of the Sexes: Language." As you view this, you will complete the assignment sheet provided. Please download the document to your computer, type your answers into it, save and upload to the dropbox.
In our communication there are strengths and weakness that even males and females experience. Biologically, we are wired to function differently, and though there are various caveat's to this in that all men and women do not necessarily fit neatly into one way of thinking (cognitive) and behaving (affective) around language, research shows that many of us do. Differences between the sexes helps us understand how men and women engage and operate linguistically.
The information presented is ONE of many differences that the sexes experience and that is also rooted in elements of sociology, psychology, of course communication. We will start to really look at how these differences influence relationships personally and professionally.
