Overview
The capstone presentation provides an opportunity to showcase your Capstone Project. In this unit, you will create a video that highlights your Project. The presentation will be viewed by your instructor and classmates.
Create a 2-3 minute video in which you do the following:
- Identify appropriate long- and short-term plans for success in the workplace through discussion of the qualifications needed for short- and long-term success.
- Discuss the core skills and abilities that employers value for achieving career goals.
- Apply guidelines for professional presentations in your video.
The elements included in your video presentation will vary depending on your Capstone Project topic, purpose, audience and final deliverable. Think about the elements that you would include in a summary and the most important elements of the final deliverable.
Some elements that may be included in your 2-3 minute video presentation related to your Capstone Project are:
- Introduction
- Audience
- Purpose
- Main points
- Tactics/strategies to use to address objectives
- Long- and short-term plans for success in the workplace through identification of the qualifications needed for short- and long-term success.Core skills and abilities that employers value and the timeline for achieving career goals.
- Suggestions/recommendations for future work on the Project
- Conclusion (call to action, final thoughts, etc.)
