For this week’s reflection, we turn our attention to global populations, aging populations and the effect on economic growth.
Write a Journal Reflection 500-600 words long answering two questions (250-300 words each answer):
- Should national governments be concerned that their populations are about to go through a demographic transition that will lead to aging populations?
- Should the global community concentrate on using urban growth as fuel for economic growth rather than trying to find ways to slow down such growth?
