Overview
You must answer all the exam questions. Answers with relevant and clear supporting evidence, definition of terms (when required), and clear and organized writing will receive the highest marks.
The expectation is that you will write around one page or more of single-spaced written material for every 30 points allocated, using 12-point Times New Roman font and with 1-inch margins. (You may write more if you wish.) You may include graphs if they help convey your argument (some questions require graphs); as a clarification, graphs do not count in the “written material” referenced in the previous sentence. Graphs may be hand-drawn, with a photo of the hand-drawn graph inserted into the document containing your answer; alternatively, if you would like you can make the graphs using a computer drawing program (your grade will be based only on the substance of what is shown on the graph, not on how nice it looks from a graphical perspective).
You must work alone. You may use any source – including notes, slides, the internet, etc. – as long as you cite it. You may cite sources in any format you wish, but please be consistent in the format you are using. Please type your answers in a word document and submit it via the course website on Canvas by 5pm on June 11.
