Unemployment. It's a word that few of us are comfortable with. Yet, to economists, unemployment is a natural part of the economic system. For this paper, please focus on unemployment and the four key types of unemployment.
- Begin the paper by fully defining unemployment.
- Then, break down and detail each of the four types of unemployment (see the unemployment lecture for this week).
- In addition to fully detailing the core characteristics of each unemployment type, describe both the positive and negative impact that each type has on the economy. Make sure to provide quantitative analyses to support your narratives.
