The paper involves several stages, . Below, I outline the requirements for each stage and the expected deliverables
1. Term Paper Proposal.
- Requirements:
- Two paragraphs or three in length.
- High-level outline of the chosen topic, which should broadly relate to economics and regulation, with a focus on energy economics.
- Initial thoughts on research and original analysis.
- Requirements:
- At least five scholarly sources, excluding internet sites unless from a peer-reviewed journal.
- A brief summary and analysis of each source, explaining how it will integrate into the overall paper.
- Requirements:
- First complete draft of the term paper incorporating feedback from earlier stages.
- Length: No less than 14 pages, including in-depth research and analysis.
- Requirements:
- Final, polished version of the term paper.
- 15-20 pages in length, plus works-cited page(s).
- Incorporate any additional feedback and revisions from the draft stage.
- The paper should not be a polemic essay; it requires a deep review of relevant academic literature.
- You may use mathematical models, econometrics, or economic history as part of your analysis.
