I don’t know how to handle this Engineering question and need guidance.
The project is an idea to reduce the usage of outsource electricity in a commercial building by generating power through piezoelectrics chips. A commercial building uses a lot of power for a limited time mostly and a lot of people coming and leaving from it. By implanting piezoelectric under the walking carpet, we can harvest enough power to light a whole floor with the right amount of piezoelectric chips.
The project is about researching the possibility on how to produce electric power to light a whole building by itself using only the steps of its visitors. For this project, we have decided to do the experiment on the Schaeffer Engineering Building.
