Report Requirements: (70 points)
Your report should contain a lead sheet with your team name, project name, date and course. The body of your report should contain the following sections. Looking for 7-8 good pages, single spaced.
1. Description of Concept
Introduce the human factors concept that you have chosen. Give some background knowledge and describe at least two design principles that are important. Do some library research and find at least three external sources outside of the textbook and course notes. Do not hesitate to ask a librarian for help. Your description should be instructive in nature and descriptive. Cite your references at the end of the report.
2. Real-world Problem
Find a real-world problem that has been documented in the news, a research article, a trade magazine or documented online. Discuss in detail how a human factors failure led to the problem and tie it in to the concept and design principles that you chose. Appropriate charts and figures highly recommended!
3. Redesign the Job
Redesign the job to address the issues. Describe how your redesign would address the issues. Your recommendations should be justified. Why will your redesign eliminate or reduce the problem?
