Overview
Aims:
The aims of this coursework are:
1. To develop understanding of safety engineering and its application to meeting desired levels of safety of systems products and services offered.
2. To develop an understand of key concepts of Risk Management to assure the required level of safety products, designs and services offered and at the workplace.
3. To develop a critical awareness of hazards and risks associated with various industries and disciplines and to apply risk assessment methods and risk mitigation techniques.
4. To introduce the industry best practices, national and international standards related to risk management, safety engineering and safety in general.
5. To provide theoretical understanding and practical implementation of the procedures and tools for conducting Project Management connected with industry requirements including sustainable development.
