Overview
During this week’s, we discussed the basic elements that go into an incident management plan. Some of those factors include:
- Responsibilities of various groups or individuals
- Actions to be taken in preparation for an incident (including data to log, committees and their responsibilities, backups to be made)
- Actions to be taken after an incident (including who to notify, actions to be taken, outside organizations to refer to.
For this assignment, we would like for you to consider the organization that you have used on the previous two homework assignments. Your answer for this assignment should be customized for that organization
Once you have chosen an organization, I would like for you to write a simple incident management policy. As you write this policy, consider the following:
- It should be no more than four pages in length.
- It should include the elements above
- It should be flexible enough to react to both natural disasters, unintentional human-caused incidents, and intentional human caused incidents.
- There are lots of examples on the web for you to use, and you are welcome to do research. However, if you borrow language from another policy, you should cite that policy in the paper which you turn in.
