A sleigh is supported and held off the ground with four vertical ½” diameter rods. If the modulus of Elasticity is 10,000,000 psi and the length of each rod is 1 ft., how much weight in toys can be put into this sleigh without compressing the rods more than .01” and ultimately destroying the sleigh?
