Final Assignment: PowerPoint Slide Presentation and Forum Comments:

Directions for Discussion Board & Final Presentation: Under Final Presentation, Submit your slide presentation and forum comments as noted below: To receive the maximum amount of points for this assignment, which is 40% of your grade, you must accomplish the following items within the allotted time frame prior to the due dates set in Canvas and as noted below. For the final assignment each student will produce a Power Point slide presentation of at least twenty slides in length and upload it to Web Campus during the required submission dates. The student may not duplicate a topic that has been covered in any one of the class modules.

The subject and content of the final assignment will be one or a combination of the following:

• Any technology or person in technology not covered in the class modules.

The student will comment in the discussion forum on 3 of the final slide presentations submitted by their classmates. A grade will be given to each student on the depth and quality of his or her comments submitted for each of the slide submissions.

• The PowerPoint Slide Presentation and Forum Comments must be submitted in Canvas in a new thread under Assignments/Discussion Board & Final Presentation, prior to its due date as noted in Canvas, 11:59 pm, Sunday, 01 December 2024.
• After reviewing each of your classmates submitted slide presentations, reply to any 3 of them with a posted answer in the discussion forum of approximately 100 words in length as follows: Your power point slide presentation and all of your comments concerning your classmate’s presentations should be intelligent, comprehensive and answer the following questions: Why is this particular technology or person in technology significant? How did this technology or person change the world? How have you been personally affected by the topic of the particular presentation? In your opinion, what new developments can we expect to see in the near future with this particular technological subject? Your Forum comments for the 3 slide presentations submitted should be posted as soon as possible but no later than 11:59 pm, Sunday, 08 December 2024.
