Part A: Overview of project delivery models for delivering public projects Task Critically explore three (3) common procurement methods (or project delivery models) used for major public construction and engineering projects in Saudi Arabia.
Provide two (2) real-life project examples for each procurement method, highlighting the appropriateness of each method. Also, highlight the major strengths and drawbacks of each procurement method identified.
Part B: Contract management in Project Procurement A survey was conducted among procurement and contract managers in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, to identify and prioritize the top 10 contract management problems facing sustainable projects. The survey participants were drawn from different organisations and sectors including oil and gas, and construction and engineering.
The responses are summarized in Table B.1 using mean and standard deviation statistics. As you a consultant, you are to study the contract management problems carefully and then proposes effective strategies to address them. Your recommended strategies must be practical and feasible such that when they are implemented by organizations, they climate the identified contract management problems. Thus, your recommended strategies should be able enhance contract management practice in Saudi Arabia.
