Overview
A pipette moving horizontally with a constant velocity π’π releases 3 droplets in total, at t1, t2, and t3.
a) Assuming that the droplets follow projectile trajectories (i.e., free fall, with horizontal motion), derive the equations of the pathlines and streamlines.
b) Using the equations you derived in (a), substitute uo= 3 m/s and t1 = 0, t2 = 1s, and t3 = 2s, and plot the streamlines at the specific times the droplets are released, the pathlines of the droplets for t β [0, 3s] and the streakline at 3s. You can use Excel, or any programming language you prefer to create the figure, but you must clearly present all work
FYI: I uploaded an example from class its different but its the same concept of stream lines and pathlines
