i) choose 2-3 key arguments of the day’s required reading(s) (do not summarize the reading; select only 2-3 aspects that interest you AND relate to your case study); ii) choose a current event or case study (e.g., a news item); summarize the case study, explain why you chose the case study, explain how it relates to the week’s readings and your 2-3 key arguments. iii) write 3 discussion questions to stimulate participation (keep it simple, accessible, and relevant so that it opens up discussion and does not confuse people – remember no one read the assigned readings as closely as you did)
