Overview

Implement your plan by practicing environmental stewardship at two levels. Based on all that you have learned about managing and caring for the resources we share in the environment, you will implement a plan to practice creation stewardship.

Personal/Individual Level:

Examples:

• Reduce, reuse, and recycle by composting at home.
• Develop a WaterSense.
• Install a programmable thermostat and set it to “eco” settings to heat and cool efficiently.

Community Level (family, church, place of employment, public park or lake, conservation land): Examples:

Reducing Waste: What You Can Do

Conduct a food collection drive at your local church and donate: Nonperishable and unspoiled perishable food

Partner with a group of people from your neighborhood or local church in the Great Backyard Bird Count.

Provide documentation or proof of your personal engagement and involvement in creation and environmental stewardship in the form of a journal entry or a log sheet or chart (which includes pictures for proof of your involvement in the activity), a video presentation, a PowerPoint presentation, etc.
