What was your status with regard to the Kyoto Protocol, the Paris Agreement, the Glasgow Agreement and to a potential new protocol? Have any recent economic, political, or societal changes affected these positions? To which official and unofficial coalitions have you belonged? Are there countries that might have significant influence on your position? How much does public opinion influence your position? Are there any opinion polls that reveal public attitudes toward climate change among your constituents? Are there key industries whose stance would affect your position? Essentially, this background research will enable you to determine your party’s interests and likely negotiating positions or tactics. It will also enable other parties to better understand where your interests lie1. Write down all answers for above answers specifically (over 200 words for each question)2.
